What We Don't Bring Out In Company

What I imagine
is what you do not feel.
The soft secret folds of skin
glistening and pink.
An inverted, dewy flower
of silken nerves.

I keep it incognito;
cloth covered
and polite.
Hidden, clamped, closed
and fragrant,
waiting.

I describe the moist crook
of the finger space
between my thumb and pointer.
Bemittened...

is all.

I want you
to hold my hand.
