LAS NUBES NOS BANAN

La Lluvia
hovers over us
waiting.

As thunder
separates
into tiny pieces

bowling hail
dents hoods,
stones roofs.

Rain insists
down
into crevices.

A river
for
parched sidewalks.

This spanking
of reality
reminds us,

leaden clouds
wash us
with sky.
