Do For A Living

Hard to work
When you don't want to be
Here

Hard to look at a paycheck and say
This buys more
Of time here

Hard to sense the long hours
From eight to five
All those lost breaths

Inside the cage of waiting
Work is eternity
Depleting itself slowly

Inside life is a paymentless glee
A stallion galloping without reins
Clouds passing a rainbow slowly

The surprise beauty
Not schedules for pay or off hours
Weekends not time enough to recover.
